The Blisworth School Curriculum
Starting in autumn 2019, Blisworth School initiated a review of its curriculum in order to ensure it fully meets the needs of our children.
We want every aspect of the school day, including learning time, playtimes, lunchtimes, assemblies, visits, visitors etc to contribute to supporting every child to be as successful as possible and fully prepared for the next stage in their life.
Over the next two years we will be making some adaptations to the curriculum so that it is:
- ambitious for all pupils;
- coherently planned and sequenced;
- successfully adapted, designed and developed for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities so that where ever possible, they move through the curriculum with their peers:
- broad, balanced and enriched for all pupils.
The curriculum maps show parents what is taught half term by half term.
