The Pupil Premium Grant is additional school funding for those children whose parents are in receipt of the benefits listed below. It is paid directly to the school to improve the quality of their education and is 'ring-fenced' to ensure the money is keenly targeted to the qualifying children and schools are monitored to ensure it is being spent in a way that ensures maximum impact for them

Financial Support for Qualifying Families
Here at Blisworth School we offer financial support to Pupil Premium pupils. Applications may be made by parents/carers whose child/children qualify for Pupil Premium funding once we have been notified by the County Council.
Support can provided in two ways:
Offers directly from school: parents will be provided some activities, trips or events for free with school covering the costs.
Applications for financial support from families as needed: this might include families asking for a contribution from school to cover some of the costs of breakfast club, school uniform, some school trips or swimming where school did not make an offer to pay, music lessons etc
The application process is simple and via a short form that is available upon request from the office
